It was time for the coaster friends Xmas event! The event was actually in November, but I’m posting this in December so let’s pretend it was actually in December. With the Kings Cross line shut, we headed to Liverpool Street. After meeting Jordan, it was time for the annual visit to Winter Wonderland (Hyde Park). The only coaster we needed was Scenic Railway (757)! Plus one and done! We were in and out, how efficient! The officially meet time was 1pm, so we had time for a walk and some pubs beforehand. City Of Quebec was nearby and we headed there. Plastic glasses only for some reason. I wasn’t ready for a Guinness, so had a Madri: We decided to walk closer to the official meet point and found The Coach Makers Arms along the way. What a lovely pub! I had Double Diamond, a pale, from Allsopp’s. Easily beer of the day and one of the best pales I’ve ever had! Our official meet was at The Fitzrovia, a pretty bog standard Greene King pub.
