Welcome to another blog! This instalment is a combination of an away day and northern beer blog, so there’s a lot to get through! I travelled up north on the Friday afternoon and met Rach at Sureshot, where we enjoyed some of Sureshot’s 4th birthday beers! From here it would have been rude not to visit Cloudwater and Track too, so we did. I like Cloudwater beer a lot but there’s something I just don’t love about their taproom and I can’t put my finger on it. No there’s not a Peterborough United clock… Track however is one of my favourite taprooms. Here I enjoyed the Spezial, Festbier, which was stunning. Festbier is such a difficult style to get right and Track have aced it. We were getting hungry so made our way to Bundobust on Oxford Road. They had a new menu on which included some Chinese inspired dishes.
