It’s not very often that I watch games as a neutral, but it’s nice to watch a match without any emotional involvement! I have a rule which states, I will not attend another game involving a football league team when Cambridge are playing, except if it’s in the EFL Trophy. DJ pointed me in the direction of this game, Brentford vs Leyton Orient, as the tickets were only £10 and it was a ground tick for both of us! It’s amazing how far out of London Brentford is. It took the same time to get from King’s Cross to Brentford as it did to get from Cambridge to London! Of course, upon arrival in Brentford we went straight to the pub. If you need pub recommendations always ask Retired Martin The Express Tavern was excellent! Just look at the fish and chips: Great Harvey’s, Hophead and Fish and Chips what more could you want?
