Beer Moose

  Things are currently looking good for Cambridge United, which is something that I don’t often get to say! Back on the road last week for a long trip up to Fleetwood, I left Brampton at 08:15 and we arrived around 13:30 and my first thought of Fleetwood was the repugnant smell that met my nostrils as we exited the bus, outside of the Fishermen Friend factory.  Crossing a tram line to get to a stadium is a new one! As we walked to the ground we found it closed up and deserted. It turns out that the stand we had tickets for was closed so we had to walk round to the main entrance. Once inside I checked out the refreshments on offer. Madri was the only draught beer on offer and cost me £6.50! £6.50 in Fleetwood! The popcorn chicken was really nice though!  Me and Dan had standing tickets but were told we could stand if we went to the far end of the stand. I’d heard Fleetwood were a really friendly club but that’s not the impression I got to be honest.  I was pretty bull...
