USA 24: Forget The Kentucky Derby, It’s The Kentucky Cred Run!

Situated next to the Kentucky State Fair Ground, this former Six Flags park is home to five coasters. The cred buffet looked alright, there’s an RMC and a big Chance Rides coaster. Let’s get to it!

We headed straight for Lightning Run (680). A rare Chance Rides Hyper Coaster, despite not being tall enough to officially class as a hyper coaster!

It was fine. There was some airtime and some decent drops. Moving on!

Kentucky Flyer (681), a family wooden coaster.

Cool trains!

Decent for what it is, it nothing overly special.

I saw the above walking to the next coaster, can think of a few people who should live there!

It was RMC time!

Storm Chaser looks a lot better than it actually is. It’s slow and surprisingly rough. Didn’t enjoy it.

We grabbed the plus 1, Roller Skater (683).

Followed by Thunder Run (684) which is probably the best (least worst) coaster in the park.

A quick cred run, where none of the coasters will live long in my memory. We then headed to Holiday World. Thanks for reading!

Supermarket Weep - Lidl

It’s been a while, but Supermarket Weep is back! The series where myself and some ‘lucky’ guests, try supermarket own brand beer and beers brewed specifically for supermarkets. 2024 In Review & The Beer Moose Awards!

“Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time” sang Pink Floyd in 1973. They’re sort of right, each year feels shorter than the last. Moose On The Loose - Lincoln: Imping Over The Line

I was excited to visit Lincoln properly for the first time. Last year I visited just to watch the football and only managed to get to one pub. Therefore a proper visit was long overdue. I was joined by a full squad of friends and here’s what we got up to. An early start at Cambridge station saw us arrive before eleven in Lincoln. Every train we rode arrived on time, what a miracle! After checking into the hotel we made our way to The Golden Eagle, probably the best football away pub I’ve ever visited! Pints of Castle Rock beers, including Harvest Pale and How High Is The Moon, were consumed as excitement for the game started to build.
