  Welcome back to the Asia Adventure series! This is the third instalment of the series and also the third time that I’m spoiling you with culture! We pick things up at Happy Valley Beijing, another park with its own metro station!  The first thing you see upon entering the park is Extreme Rusher, a massive air launched coaster that hasn’t operated since 2014. Thankfully some coasters were operating.  768: Family Inverted Coaster Long time Beer Moose readers will know how much I love Inverted coasters made by Swiss manufacturer B&M (not the shop), as you’ve worked out from the name this is a tame and family friendly version of that model. It was a decent ride back row and had some good forces.  B&M make the best inverted coasters. Smooth, forceful and full of interesting elements.   Welcome to the second Asia Adventure blog! Apologies to the beer fans reading this as there isn’t going to be much about beer! If you stick around you’ll get to see some of my shame though, arguably that is much better than reading my beer takes.  The first park of our trip was Beijing Shijingshan Amusement Park. It’s super easy to get to as it has its own metro stop. We arrived just before opening and were virtually the only people around. You pay a fee to enter and then also have to pay per ride with a card system. My credit card company are currently enjoying trying to get me a refund from this park. It’s a long story.  Whilst we waited for the park to open we checked out the information boards and enjoyed the excitingly named coasters that awaited us. No time for an unknown journey  I was excited for overlapping rollercoaster  With the park now open we headed towards our first cred!  761: Space Pulley Choo choo! Wow, it’s been a while since I’ve done any writing! It’s been a busy time for me! A mixture of being away, the Cambridge Beer Festival and injuring myself has taken up all of my time. Anyway, in April this year myself and three friends embarked on an adventure to Asia, where our first stop was Beijing!  Our outbound flight was with China Southern and things didn’t get off to a good start. A technical issue with the aircraft meant we returned to the stand, but after an anxious wait we were finally on our way!  Beer cred on the plane! The food was actually pretty good Arriving into Beijing we hopped onto the metro and headed to our hotel. I love the completely impenetrable barrier between passengers and the driver! A little side note to say that being on a Chinese metro is not overly fun unless you enjoy being pointed at, starred at and having photos taken of you!  Checked into our fancy hotel we headed for a walk and some food.
