Beer Moose

  Away days are back! Cambridge kicked off their away campaign at Bromley, somewhere we had been just a few months prior at the tail end of the previous season. A tough, physical and yet winnable game awaited us just outside of the capital.  I met up with John and DJ at Kings Cross and we headed straight to London Victoria via the Victoria line. Here we had lunch and some pints at The Willow Walk, which I initially thought was a new spoons tick for me! Turns out I’d been there before.  A pint of Oakham Sun City and a curry was just the job We spoke to some fellow U’s fans before heading to Bromley and there was excitement amongst the fan base. Bromley’s stadium is a short walk from Bromley South station but you must get there early. Bromley have learned nothing from last season and the whole operation is chaotic and slow.
